The Rundlestone Lodge, Banff![]() Opened in 1997, the Rundlestone Lodge is a modern hotel, but has a rustic alpine-style charm, enhanced by timber features and a big, welcoming stone fireplace in the lobby. The 96 guest rooms come in various formats, ranging from king, queen and twin-bed rooms, through to Deluxe suites. Suite options include in-room Jacuzzis, wood-burning fireplaces, balconies, loft kitchenette suites, two and three-bed apartments and the Premier honeymoon suite. All rooms have full air conditioning. For fitness and recreation there is a small exercise facility with a treadmill, bike and universal gym equipment, in addition to a heated indoor 45-ft lap pool, hot tub and an outdoor deck area with lounge chairs overlooking the park. Jack Pine Bistro & Lounge, the on-site restaurant, serves breakfast and dinner, and features regional Canadian fare, including organic bison ribeye, atlantic and pacific seafood, and Quebec duck confit flatbread.
