Delta Banff Royal Canadian Lodge

Opened in 2000, the Delta Royal Canadian Lodge is a popular hotel located some 10 minutes' walking distance from the centre of downtown Banff. It is owned by Charlton Resorts and, although a Delta-branded hotel, is designed in the style of a boutique hotel rather than a big-city chain hotel.

The hotel has a mountain lodge ambiance, with timber and natural stone featuring prominently throughout, and a large stone fireplace dominating the lobby area as you walk in. 99 well-proportioned rooms range from 1 king-sized or 2 queen-sized bed Delta rooms through to 1 bedroom suites.

After a long day on the ski slopes, the indoor pool and the hotel's own Grotto Spa offer a perfect way to unwind, featuring massages and facials, a jetted whirlpool, steam room and saltwater soaking pool.

Evergreen, the hotel's on-site fine dining restaurant, offers breakfast, lunch and dinner, and features a good selection of wines. There is a small bar area with seating at the bar and in the lounge area around the lobby fireplace.

This is a non-smoking hotel and pets are not allowed.
