Banff Crag & Canyon

It has served the Banff community since 1900 and has a weekly circulation of 8,211 copies (Canadian Community Newspapers Association 2005).

Previously a paid-for newspaper, since the October 22, 2003 edition it has been distributed for free to Banff households. It is widely available at stands around Banff and the Bow Valley.

Aimed at an audience of both local residents and visitors, the paper focuses on the week's news and sports from Banff and surrounding area. It also contains a weekly pullout guide to entertainment, television and the arts, called SummitUP.

For newcomers to Banff looking to stay for a while, the Crag is a useful resource, with extensive listings of rental accommodation and employment opportunities in the town.
