Banff Community High School

Banff Community High School, part of the Canadian Rockies Public Schools division, provides academic programs for students in Grades 7 though 12. The programs meet the requirements of Alberta Education and afford all students the opportunity to graduate from BCHS and receive an Alberta High School Diploma or Certificate of Achievement.

The school reopened in September 2003 following a CAD$5.3 million renovation.

Former students include alpine skier Thomas Grandi and cross country skier Philip Widmer, both of whom qualified for the 2006 Winter Olympics in Torino, Italy.

The school Principal is Mr Steve Greene.
