New in Banff - childcare - contact Delete post Submitted by fuchsclan <fuchsclan@googlemail.com> on 05/Apr/2008

Hi,

we are a family of five living in Germany.
We are planning to move to Banff in summer this year because I got a job-offer in Banff.

We are having three children 2, 5 and 7 years old and now we are having some questions:
For the younger one or two children we are searching for a "cheap" Family Day Home or for Stay at Home Parents.
Where can we find them? We are asking because the Childe Care Centres are very expensive and we won't be able to get subsidy childcare - because we are in Banff only with a work permit, not as a permanent resident.

And the other question is: Do you know how long the school is? At what time does the school start and end?
And I saw that they have a kindergarten group in the school. I think this is for 5 years old children, isn't it? At what time does this group start and end?

I'm also searching for other families. We like to meet other Canadians living in Banff - to stay in email contact with us at this moment.

I hope my English isn't too bad ;-)
Hope to hear from you
Regards
Petra
