Restaurant Le Beaujolais, BanffEasily one of Banff's finest restaurants, Le Beaujolais serves fine French cuisine in an elegant second floor dining room overlooking Banff Avenue and Central Park. Proving that even with Banff's rustic mountain town charm, it has a sophisticated side that equals any other world class destination, the food at Le Beaujolais is classic French cuisine at its best, with service that is attentive without being overbearing, and offering an excellent selection of Bordeaux and Burgundy wines. Established in 1980 by owner operator Albert Moser, Le Beaujolais offers a menu featuring a la carte selections along with two and three-course table d'hote options, with highlights including Braised Elk with Wild Boar Bacon, and Pacific Salmon and Scallop Paillard. Le Beaujolais is located upstairs at the corner of Banff Avenue and Buffalo Street, near the Bow River Bridge, and more recently a less formal bistro restaurant has been added, Bistro Café de Paris. While many diners are there for that special night out and dress up accordingly, the dress code is business casual, and jacket and tie are optional. Reservations are recommended.
