El Toro Restaurant, BanffWhile El Toro's menu has a Mediterranean influence, the Spanish-sounding name is misleading as the restaurant's specialty is traditional Greek food, Alberta beef steaks, and seafood dishes. El Toro is a long-established restaurant on Banff's dining scene and is located in the Irwin's Mountain Inn hotel on Banff Avenue, less than a 10 minute walk from the centre of downtown Banff. Menu highlights include roast lamb, chateaubriand steak carved at the table, and the seafood platter. Guests staying at Irwin's Mountain Inn are entitled to a 10% discount on dinner at El Toro. El Toro is also conveniently located for visitors staying at other hotels along Banff Avenue, including the Banff Inn, Red Carpet Inn, Banff Avenue Inn, and the Best Western Siding 29.
