Opened in 1992, Evelyn's is as popular as ever and in peak season, line-ups often stretch out through the door for its gourmet coffees, homestyle muffins, pastries, sandwiches and salads, all of which are well worth the wait. For an inexpensive lunch and a coffee break, also check out its two sister shops in Banff, which are often less busy: Evelyn's Too (403-762-0330) in the Wolf & Bear Mall (Lux Theatre Building) on the corner of Wolf Street and Bear Street, and Evelyn's Again (403-760-2907) at 119 Banff Avenue.
