The Banff Book & Art Den

The Banff Book & Art Den is a long established bookstore in Banff. Opened in 1965 by Barbara and Peter Steiner, it offers locals and visitors an eclectic selection of both fiction and non-fiction books.

The store also stocks a wide range of travel books and maps, with a focus on the Canadian Rockies. In addition to new books, you will also find a continually changing inventory of art, antiquarian books, and interesting ephemera.

The Banff Book and Art Den is located at the end of Banff Avenue, near the Bow River bridge. The store's second location at the Banff Springs Hotel closed in the fall of 2007.
